IDS 2023 Cologne Dental Fair: The 100th anniversary is convincing

The 40th German Dental Fair IDS in Cologne was a successful anniversary event, which came to a successful conclusion on March 18, 2023 after a compact five days. This year, IDS celebrated its 100th anniversary and the scale of exhibitors and visitors was amazing - around 120,000 trade visitors from 162 countries came to Cologne to see the full range of dental medical and dental technology products on display by 1,788 exhibiting companies from 60 countries.

IDS is once again convincing with its high level of internationality and the quality of its visitors. 60% of professional visitors come from outside Germany. As usual, there was a high turnout from the EU countries of Italy, France, the Netherlands, Spain, as well as Belgium, Romania and Greece. Visitors from Asia, South America, the United States and Canada are also growing fast.

According to the survey, about 80% of trade visitors are involved in their companies' purchasing and procurement decisions. Visitors' comments on IDS 2023 were also quite positive: more than 80 percent were very satisfied with the show and nearly 90 percent would recommend the Cologne Dental Show to their business partners. In addition, 84 percent of respondents are satisfied with the digital platform "IDS connect" and associated additional services.

The 41st German Dental Fair IDS is scheduled to take place from 25 to 29 March 2025.
